Refund & Cancellation Policy
What this means — plain-English summary, not legally binding; the full text below governs.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account.
- Postage and other third-party charges we have already paid on your behalf are generally not refundable.
- If we ever collect payment before the service is actually available to you, that payment is refundable.
- After you cancel, there is a short period to forward or collect any remaining mail.
- We will tell you clearly before any subscription renews.
1. Scope
This policy explains cancellations, renewals, and refunds for the MyEverAddress Service. It is part of the Terms of Service.
2. Launch-phase and pre-payments
The Service may be offered in a demo, waitlist, or founding-customer phase before full availability. We do not charge for a service that is not yet available to you except as a clearly labeled, refundable pre-order or deposit reviewed for compliance. If you have paid for a service that has not been provided, you are entitled to a refund of that amount. (Any pre-launch payment mechanism must be confirmed by counsel.)
3. Subscriptions and renewals
Subscription plans renew automatically for the term you selected until you cancel. Before a renewal, we provide the notice applicable law requires. You can see your plan, renewal date, and price in your account.
4. Canceling
You may cancel from your account at any time, or by contacting support@myeveraddress.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. When you cancel:
- Your access continues until the end of the current paid term, unless you request earlier closure.
- The account then closes, and the mail wind-down process in the Mail Handling Agreement and Storage & Abandonment Policy applies.
5. Refunds
- Subscription fees. Except where the law requires otherwise, subscription fees for a term already begun are generally non-refundable; any proration for early cancellation, if offered, will be described at cancellation.
- Postage and third-party charges. Postage, carrier charges, and other amounts we have already paid to third parties on your behalf are not refundable once incurred.
- Identity-verification or setup fees. Any one-time setup or identity-verification fees may be non-refundable once the work has been performed. (To be confirmed.)
- Service not provided. If we charged you for a service we did not provide, you are entitled to a refund of that amount.
We may issue account credits instead of cash refunds where appropriate and permitted.
6. Charges you still owe
Cancellation does not waive charges you have already incurred, including outstanding postage, storage, forwarding, or package fees. We may collect those amounts as the Terms of Service and law allow.
7. Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@myeveraddress.com within a reasonable time so we can investigate. We aim to resolve billing questions promptly.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy with notice as described in the Terms of Service. Questions: support@myeveraddress.com.
