Privacy Request
What this means — plain-English summary, not legally binding; the full text below governs.
- You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- We verify who you are before we act, so no one else can access your information.
- Some records we must keep — like the identity records a mail-receiving agency is required to retain — cannot be deleted while that obligation lasts.
- We do not penalize you for exercising your privacy rights.
- Use the contact details below or the on-site request form to make a request.
1. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access / know — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and how we use and share it.
- Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
- Delete — ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Portability — receive a portable copy of certain information.
- Opt out — opt out of certain uses of your information (we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising).
- Non-discrimination — not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.
The exact rights available to you depend on the privacy law of your state or country. See our Privacy Policy.
2. How to make a request
Submit a request through the request form on this page, or by emailing privacy@myeveraddress.com. Tell us what you would like to do (access, correct, delete, export, or opt out) and the email or account associated with your information.
3. Verifying your identity
To protect your information — which can include identity documents and mail contents — we will verify your identity before acting on a request. The verification we ask for depends on the sensitivity of the information and the type of request. If someone submits a request on your behalf as an authorized agent, we may ask for proof of their authorization and may still verify your identity directly.
4. Our response
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to respond within the timeframe applicable law requires. If we need more time or more information, we will tell you. If we cannot fully honor a request, we will explain why and, where the law provides one, how to appeal.
5. Information we may need to keep
Some information cannot be deleted while a legal obligation to retain it applies. This includes, for example, identity and Form 1583 records that mail-receiving-agency rules require us to keep, records subject to a legal hold or lawful request, and records we must retain for tax, accounting, or security purposes. We will delete or de-identify information once the obligation ends and it is no longer needed. See the retention section of the Privacy Policy and the Storage & Abandonment Policy.
6. Demo data
The public demo uses fictional sample data and does not hold personal information about you, so there is nothing to access or delete from the demo.
