Cookie Policy
What this means — plain-English summary, not legally binding; the full text below governs.
- We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to keep you logged in, keep the site secure, and understand usage in aggregate.
- The free demo stores your actions in your own browser session so nothing leaks between visitors.
- We do not put your mail contents or identity information into analytics or advertising tools.
- You can control cookies through your browser; some are needed for the site to work.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local and session storage. Together we refer to these as “cookies” in this policy.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the site and app to function — for example, keeping you signed in, protecting against fraud and abuse, and remembering your security and session state. These cannot be turned off without breaking core features.
- Preferences. Remember choices such as display settings and notification preferences.
- Demo session storage. The free interactive demo stores your simulated actions in your own browser session so your demo state is not shared with other visitors and can be reset. This data stays in your browser.
- Analytics (privacy-conscious). Help us understand aggregate usage — such as which pages are visited and where people get stuck — so we can improve. We configure analytics to avoid collecting personal information, and we do not place mail contents, identity documents, or sensitive account data into analytics.
We do not use advertising cookies to build profiles of you from your mail or account activity.
3. Third-party cookies
Some functions rely on third parties — for example, a payment processor at checkout, bot-protection and security tooling, and email or infrastructure providers. These may set cookies needed for their function. We list and confirm any such third parties before relying on them. (Final third-party list to be confirmed at launch.)
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can clear the demo’s session storage by resetting the demo or closing the session. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working. Where required in your location, we will provide a consent mechanism for non-essential cookies.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use. Questions: privacy@myeveraddress.com.
