- Do not use the address to commit fraud, impersonate others, or evade law enforcement or legal process.
- Do not attack, overload, or misuse our website, demo, or systems.
- Breaking these rules can lead to suspension or account closure, and we cooperate with authorities where the law requires.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to your use of the MyEverAddress Service, including your assigned address, the website, the demo, and our applications. It is part of the Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to follow this AUP.
2. Lawful use only
You may use the Service and your address only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and postal and carrier rules. You are responsible for the mail and packages you cause to be sent to your address.
3. Prohibited mail and packages
You may not use the Service to receive, store, or forward:
- Anything unlawful to possess, ship, or receive.
- Hazardous, flammable, explosive, corrosive, or leaking materials, or items prohibited or restricted by USPS or the relevant carrier.
- Controlled substances or items requiring licenses or age verification you do not hold, except as permitted by law and by a separate regulated-items arrangement if we offer one.
- Live animals, perishable items likely to spoil, or biological or medical waste.
- Stolen goods, counterfeit goods, or items that infringe others’ rights.
- Cash or negotiable instruments sent contrary to our stated handling rules.

4. Prohibited conduct with the address
You may not use your address or the Service to:
- Commit or facilitate fraud, deception, money laundering, or other crimes.
- Impersonate another person or business, or register the address on behalf of someone who has not authorized you.
- Evade law enforcement, courts, creditors’ lawful process, or regulators.
- Make false statements to government agencies, financial institutions, or others about your residency, identity, or eligibility.
- Receive mail for names not registered on your account.
You are responsible for understanding that a Private Mailbox address is a mailing address and may not be accepted as a legal residence or domicile; see the Terms of Service.
5. Prohibited technical conduct
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the website, demo, or infrastructure.
- Scrape, harvest, or automate access in a way that burdens the Service or evades rate limits and abuse protections.
- Introduce malware, or probe or test security without authorization.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Service except as the law expressly permits.
6. Demo use
The free demo is for evaluating the product with fictional sample data. Do not attempt to inject real personal information, overload it, or use it to attack our systems.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove or refuse items, and take other appropriate action. Where the law requires or permits, we cooperate with postal authorities, law enforcement, and other authorities, and we may report unlawful activity. We may preserve and disclose information as needed to comply with law, enforce this AUP, or protect the rights and safety of others.

9. Changes
We may update this AUP with notice as described in the Terms of Service.
